ABOUT THE DIVERSITY & SOCIAL JUSTICE PROGRAM

The Diversity & Social Justice program is one of Onward Israel’s global, field of interest based programs, designed for applicants with a specific interest in working and exploring Israel through this topical lens. Preference will be given to applicants who are not eligible for a community based Onward Israel program.

This Onward Israel program is operated through a partnership between the Beacon and Shapira Foundations and other lead philanthropists and The Jewish Agency for Israel. It is organized by Israel Experts.

If you have questions about your eligibility or for more information about this program, please contact Anat, anatk@israelexperts.com

Israel is home to many diverse groups of people, cultures, and backgrounds. Explore these facets in an internship focused on multiculturalism, identity and diversity in Israel.
Participants will be placed in a variety of positions with NGO’s, community projects and nonprofit organizations focused on social justice.

Onward Israel participants will also get to travel around Israel as a group and individually, getting to know the country, its culture, politics and landscape, intimately.
