Onward Israel Philadelphia helps young adults jumpstart their professional and Jewish futures through immersive, resume-building internships and educational travel in Israel. Together with the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, Onward will provide  participants a chance to connect with Israel and the Philadelphia Jewish community in unique, fun and meaningful ways while acquiring real-world, professionally relevant experience.

Spend the summer in the Negev Desert and discover why Be’er Sheva is emerging as the technology and engineering hub of the South. Participants will be placed in various positions such as university research centers, biotechnology labs, engineering and cyber security companies.

See how innovators and entrepreneurs work together in Israel to make the small country one of the most competitive in the world. Participants will be matched with internships at some of the country’s most innovative companies, many of which have started in Tel Aviv, the Silicon Valley of the Middle East.

Israel is home to many diverse groups of people, cultures, and backgrounds. Explore these facets in an internship focused on multiculturalism, identity and diversity in Israel.
Participants will be placed in a variety of positions with NGO’s, community projects and nonprofit organizations focused on social justice.
